2014 OTI Symposium Oct. 3-5

Due to the fact that we have just recently gotten the OTI Symposium registration link on the website we’re extending the period for registering before the price increase until August 31. There are still room available at the Hyatt at a discounted rate. If you stay at the Hyatt you also get discounted parking at $12 per day.

The weekend promises to be an exception time with shop visits, live demos, and a great list of speakers which include Callie Shevlin who works for a major watch company as an engine turner and Phil Poirier who is a master goldsmith, along with a long list of names with which we are quite familiar including Jon Magill, Roy Lindley, Dave Arnold, Jon Spencer, D. Mayeron, Rich Littlestone, Al Collins, and Fred Armbruster. It promises to be not only a good time but an exceptional learning opportunity.

Family members are registered for the display room and lectures free with the meal plan, which OTI has subsidized, as an option for $40. The banquet costs an additional $40 per additional family member.

You can register by using the attachment above or by going to the OTI website, http://www.ornamentalturners.info/Community/symposium.php or by using the attachment above.

Don’t forget to make an item to enter into the crafts contest or for the auction.
